I get the appeal for parties or mood lighting, but is it actually useful day-to-day? I tried something similar once and mostly just left it on “warm white” after the first week. Anyone actually use these features regularly, or is it just a novelty that wears off?

I keep seeing all these gorgeous, slightly chaotic native gardens online, but when I tried it, my neighbor legit thought I was just letting my yard go… oops.

Personally, I like a mix—some structure but not too much. The bees and butterflies seem happy, at least. Anyway, curious where folks land on this. Do you lean wild, tidy, or somewhere in between? And if you’ve got tips for making a native planting look intentional (so the HOA doesn’t freak out), I’d love to hear 'em.

It’s honestly wild being able to walk around and have the same playlist follow me. But, uh, getting everything to sync perfectly was way more annoying than I expected. Sometimes there’s this weird half-second delay between rooms and it throws me off, especially if I’m carrying laundry or something and the beat just… jumps.

Has anyone else run into this? Did you find a system that actually keeps everything in time, or is this just one of those “close enough” situations? Also, does anyone regret putting speakers in every room? I’m starting to wonder if I went overboard.
