I totally get the appeal of brushed nickel—my last place had a chrome faucet and I swear every fingerprint showed up within minutes. Brushed nickel hides a lot, which is great when you’re not cleaning constantly. But I keep wondering if it’s worth paying extra for the “smart” features. Like, is waving your hand really that much easier than just turning a handle? Plus, if something breaks, I’d rather not have to call a specialist just to get water running again. Does anyone actually save money in the long run with those, or is it just more stuff to fix?
