I hear you on the sensor taps—had one in my kitchen for a bit and it was more trouble than it was worth. Every time I tried to rinse something, it’d either not turn on or blast water when I didn’t want it. Swapped back to a regular lever and haven’t looked back. I did see a Moen model that’s got both manual and sensor controls, but honestly, I don’t trust the tech to last. Mechanical just seems less hassle in the long run, especially if you like fixing stuff yourself.
