We're finally taking the plunge and building our own place, but I'm kinda stuck trying to understand what's a decent interest rate on these loans. The bank gave us a number, and it seems a bit high compared to regular mortgages...but maybe that's normal? I dunno. If anyone's been through this recently, could you share what kinda rates you got or any tips on negotiating it down?
