Totally get what you mean about “turnkey”—it’s like code for “we put in granite counters, ignore the rest.” I’m always worried about hidden costs, especially with older stuff like drafty windows or a furnace from the 80s. Has anyone actually had luck negotiating price down based on energy inefficiency? Or do sellers just brush that off and focus on the shiny updates?
