Last weekend I visited a friend who lives in one of those super tiny city apartments—you know, the kind where you can practically touch both walls at once. Anyway, she had this clever setup where her walls were basically shelves, floor to ceiling, packed with books, plants, and random knick-knacks. Got me thinking... imagine a story where someone discovers a hidden note or object tucked away on one of these high-up shelves. Could be mysterious, funny, or even spooky... hmm.

Love this idea—tiny spaces always have hidden potential. Maybe the note could be an old grocery list with cryptic doodles, or a faded postcard hinting at a forgotten romance... endless possibilities there.

I like the hidden note idea, but let's be real—I've seen enough dusty shelves to know you'd probably just find an old IKEA assembly manual or a receipt from ten years ago. Still, if you're determined to make it intriguing, maybe start by picturing exactly how someone would realistically stumble across it: climbing a chair, reaching awkwardly, knocking something else down first (because that always happens)... Could add some believable charm to your story.
