Funny you mention “driftwood hieroglyphics”—I once specified a super modern font for a building directory, thinking it’d look sleek. Looked great on my plans, but when the install was done, people kept asking if the “1” was actually an “I”. Taught me quick that what works in renderings doesn’t always work in reality.
