We just got done working with a surveyor and architect to map out our land before building our dream home. Honestly, I had no idea how much difference the slope and shape of the land could make. We tweaked the layout a bit to fit the natural terrain, and now it looks way better than our original plan—plus, less excavation costs, which is always nice, haha. Curious if anyone else had a similar experience where the land kinda guided your home's final design?
