We're getting ready to sell our house and our realtor keeps pushing us to stage it professionally. Honestly, I'm a bit skeptical—does it really make that big of a difference? I mean, our furniture isn't terrible or anything, but it's definitely lived-in (hello, kids and pets!). Wondering if anyone here has experience with this...did staging actually help you sell faster or get a better offer? Or is it just another expense we could skip?

I felt exactly the same way when we sold our last place...but honestly, staging made a huge difference. We got multiple offers within days, and I'm convinced it helped buyers visualize the potential beyond our cluttered reality. Totally worth it, IMO.
