Layering is definitely the way to go. I've found that adding a thin vintage rug or even a faux sheepskin over seagrass can soften things up nicely without losing that natural texture vibe. Just make sure whatever you layer isn't too thick—otherwise it defeats the purpose of having the seagrass underneath. That's a good point. I've been considering layering but haven't tried it yet. Do you find certain rug materials slide around more than others, or is that not really an issue? Curious about your experience with that...
