What’s worked for me is a three-step approach—clean the surface with isopropyl first, use industrial-grade adhesive labels (the kind rated for high temps), and then, if it’s still sketchy, back it up with a metal tag and a paint pen. Not the prettiest, but inspectors seem to care more about clarity than aesthetics in those moments. It’s wild how much climate inside a space can mess with even the “best” products.
