Totally agree about the moisture-wicking shirts—made a huge difference for me too. Another thing I found helpful was taping up my sleeves and ankles. Felt a bit goofy at first, but it kept the fiberglass bits from sneaking in...worth it for sure.

Good call on taping up—fiberglass itch is no joke. Did you find a specific tape worked best without pulling arm hair off later? Learned that one the hard way myself...

Haha, been there... painter's tape (the blue stuff) actually worked pretty well for me—less sticky but still held sleeves tight. Definitely beats the duct tape fiasco I had once... ouch.

Painter's tape is a solid choice, yeah. I actually ended up using masking tape last time—mostly because that's what I had lying around—and it wasn't too bad either. Just sticky enough to keep the sleeves sealed without giving me an unwanted waxing session afterward, lol. Duct tape though... brave move, my friend. Learned that lesson once and never again.

Masking tape can work in a pinch, sure, but honestly I'd steer clear of it if you have painter's tape handy. Masking tape tends to leave behind residue if it's on too long or gets warm—learned that the hard way when sealing off vents during a reno. Took forever to clean up afterward. Painter's tape is designed specifically to avoid that issue, so it's usually worth the extra effort to grab some.

As for duct tape... yeah, that's a no-go for me too. Way too aggressive and messy. Another option I've found useful is gaffer's tape—sticks well, doesn't leave residue, and peels off cleanly. Bit pricier, but if you're dealing with insulation regularly or have sensitive surfaces around, it might be worth keeping a roll handy.
