Interesting take. I’ve had decent luck with injection-molded pulls too, but I keep wondering about long-term durability, especially in high-traffic spots or rentals. That’s interesting, because I’ve actually had the opposite experience with some of the newer injection-molded stuff. Maybe it’s the resin blend or just luck, but a batch of planters I used on a rooftop project held up beautifully - no cracking, even after three summers under direct sun. Meanwhile, a set of cast benches started to show hairline fractures after only a year. I wonder if it comes down to the specific additives or maybe even the colorants? Sometimes I feel like the “tried and true” methods aren’t always as reliable as we think...
