Lighting tweaks made my workspace way better

I recently swapped out my old desk lamp for one of those adjustable LED ones, and honestly, I didn't expect much difference. But now I can angle the light exactly where I need it, and my eyes aren't feeling as strained after long hours. It's weird how such a small change can make working feel less exhausting, you know? Curious if anyone else noticed a big improvement just by changing their lighting setup.

About the cord covers—yeah, those adhesive raceways are both a blessing and a curse. I learned the hard way that if you heat them up with a hair dryer before peeling, they come off way cleaner.

Honestly, I’m with you on the whole “never thought I’d be this invested in lumens and kelvins” thing. I used to just grab whatever bulbs were on sale, but now I’m actually reading the specs. High CRI is a game changer, no doubt. I tried those cheap LED strips too and yeah, the flicker was brutal. Out of curiosity, have you messed with smart bulbs at all? I keep wondering if the convenience is worth the occasional WiFi headache...
