Lighting’s a total wild card.
Couldn’t agree more. I once painted my living room what I thought was a warm gray—looked great in the store, but at home it turned straight-up blue as soon as the sun set. Never trusted a paint chip again. As for teal and rusty orange, I’m not totally sold. Maybe it works for accent pieces, but on walls? Feels risky. I lean more toward deep navy with a pop of mustard. Less chance of it looking like a sports team, you know?
