Honestly, I’d push back a bit on the idea that the “imperfect” bricks are only good for edging or paths. I’ve seen some really creative folks use even the busted ones for gabion walls or stacked planters—sometimes the odd shapes actually help things lock together. Sure, you wouldn’t want to build a load-bearing wall, but for retaining soil or adding texture, those weird pieces can be gold. Sometimes the messiest materials end up making the most interesting features... just takes a little imagination (and patience).
