I've been noticing lately that my electricity bills are creeping up, and honestly, it's starting to bug me. I mean, I'm not exactly running a bitcoin mining operation here, lol. I've tried the usual stuffβswitching off lights, unplugging chargers, and nagging the kids to stop leaving the TV onβbut it doesn't seem to make much difference.
Anyway, I've heard there are some smart gadgets or apps out there that can help track and manage your home's energy use better. Like something that shows you exactly what's eating up all your power and maybe even helps you schedule appliances to run at cheaper times. Has anyone here tried anything like this? Did it actually help lower your bills noticeably, or is it just another gimmick?
I'm open to suggestions or recommendations if you've found something that genuinely works. Just trying not to throw money away every month, you know?

I've been using one of those smart plugs with an energy tracking app for a few months now, and honestly, it opened my eyes. Found out our old fridge was practically guzzling electricity... replaced it and saw a noticeable drop on the next bill. Worth checking out imo.
