I've had mixed luck relying only on Wi-Fi for location accuracy—sometimes it's spot-on, other times it thinks I'm two streets over grabbing coffee, lol. One thing that helped me was actually pairing geofencing with motion sensors in key rooms. That way, even if the thermostat gets a little confused about my whereabouts, it still senses activity and adjusts accordingly. It's a little extra setup, but worth it for that seamless comfort...plus, guests always comment on how "smart" my home feels, which never hurts.

Totally agree with this approach—motion sensors are a game changer. I'd also suggest layering in smart blinds or curtains if you haven't yet. When the thermostat senses you're home, the blinds can automatically adjust based on sunlight and temperature, creating a cozy atmosphere without you lifting a finger. It adds another subtle layer of comfort...and guests always notice those little touches too, making your space feel thoughtfully designed and effortlessly inviting.

True, those subtle touches really do make a difference. But honestly, I've found that sometimes simpler setups work better—too many automations can feel like living in a sci-fi movie. Balance is key, ya know?

Yeah, I get what you mean about the sci-fi vibe... I once visited a friend's place where everything was voice-controlled, and honestly, it felt kinda awkward asking the house permission to change the temperature. Ever had that weird moment with overly-smart homes?

Haha, I can definitely relate to that feeling. Visited my cousin's place recently, and their smart thermostat kept misunderstanding me—I felt like I was negotiating with a stubborn roommate rather than adjusting the heat. It's impressive tech, no doubt, but sometimes simplicity just feels more comfortable. Glad I'm not alone in finding these futuristic setups a bit... overly ambitious at times.
