- Was skeptical at first—mine kept randomly heating the house at 3 AM.
- Took about a month to settle down, but now it's pretty dialed in.

"Now it even adjusts based on weather forecasts"
Haven't noticed that yet...maybe mine's still learning?

Mine took its sweet time too... first couple weeks it felt like it had a mind of its own, randomly cranking the heat at weird hours. But now it's settled in and feels pretty intuitive. About the weather forecast thing—I think mine's trying, but it's not exactly spot-on yet. Like yesterday, it was sunny all day, but since rain was predicted, it kept things warmer than necessary. I guess it's still figuring out the nuances of local weather patterns?

One thing I've noticed though: placement matters way more than I thought. Initially had mine near a window that gets direct sunlight in the afternoon—it totally threw off the readings. Once I moved it to an interior wall, accuracy improved drastically.

Also curious if anyone else sees noticeable energy savings yet? My bill dropped slightly last month, but I'm not sure if that's just coincidental or actually thanks to smarter heating...

Yeah, placement is definitely key. Had mine in the hallway at first, thinking it'd be central enough, but turns out it was picking up heat from the kitchen whenever we cooked. Moved it to the living room and now it's way more accurate. As for savings, give it another month or two—I saw a noticeable drop after about three months. Seems like these things need some time to really learn your habits...

Yeah, that's been my experience too. But honestly, placement isn't just about accuracy—it's also about comfort zones. Had mine in the living room initially, but realized we spend way more time in the family room downstairs. Once I moved it there, the whole house felt more balanced temp-wise. It's crazy how even small shifts can make a noticeable difference in both comfort and efficiency...

Totally agree about placement making a difference. Took me forever to realize mine was in a weird spot—right by a sunny window, so it kept thinking the house was warmer than it actually was. Once I moved it into the hallway, things got way more consistent. Still curious though...does anyone find that seasonal changes throw off the thermostat's learning curve? Mine seems to need a mini reset every time the weather shifts dramatically.
