Just stumbled across this random fact—apparently, lowering your thermostat by just 1 degree Celsius can cut heating bills by around 10%. Like, seriously? Had no idea such a tiny change could make that much difference. Makes me feel kinda guilty about cranking up the heat last winter, lol. Curious if anyone else has heard similar stuff or has other neat thermostat tips...

Hmm, I've heard similar stats before, but honestly, that 10% figure sounds a bit optimistic to me. Maybe in certain climates or homes with poor insulation it could be true... but generally speaking? I dunno. From my experience, investing in better insulation or sealing drafts around windows and doors usually makes a bigger difference than tweaking the thermostat by just one degree. Have you looked into that side of things yet?
