We recently sold our house, and when we first bought it, we invested quite a bit into making it eco-friendly—solar panels, energy-efficient windows, better insulation, the whole deal. Honestly, we did it mostly for ourselves (and the planet, you know), but when it came time to sell, our realtor kept emphasizing how much these upgrades would help. And yeah, we did get a decent price pretty quickly. But I'm curious if anyone else here has had similar experiences—did your green upgrades really pay off when selling? Or was it more hype than reality?
