No regrets so far. The only real headache was figuring out drainage after the fact, but that was more about my own planning than anything I left out.

Honestly, sometimes the basics are all you need if you’re careful with the fundamentals. Not saying the bells and whistles never help, but for a small project or when money’s tight, I’d rather put in extra time double-checking my work than spend on stuff that might not make a difference.
