Okay, so we're remodeling our kitchen and living room, and our home designer is great - really talented, creative, and all that. But lately, things have gotten a bit... personal? Like yesterday, we're picking out backsplash tiles, and suddenly she's asking me how my husband and I handle disagreements. Um, what? Then today, she casually suggests we consider rearranging furniture to "improve our communication flow." I laughed it off at first, but now I'm like, wait, is this normal?
I mean, I appreciate her attention to detail and all, but it's starting to feel like couples counseling disguised as interior design. Has anyone else had a designer who got this involved in your personal life, or did I just accidentally hire Dr. Phil's secret twin?
