I actually went with colored caulk because, honestly, it was way cheaper and I figured if it looked bad, I could just redo it.
Honestly, I’ve specified colored caulk on a few projects for exactly that reason—sometimes “good enough” is the right call. Unless you’re doing a museum install, most people never notice those seams anyway. I’d rather see folks enjoy their space than stress over a hairline.
