My DIY picture frame project turned into a mess

Decided to finally frame some prints I've had lying around forever, figured it'd be easy enough to DIY it. Um, turns out measuring and cutting wood isn't exactly my strong suit, lol. Ended up with wonky corners and gaps everywhere. Now I'm debating whether to try again or just buy some frames and call it a day. Has anyone else tried making their own frames and ended up regretting it?
