We're finally redoing our kitchen and I'm stuck between granite and quartz for the counters. Granite looks amazing, has that natural stone vibe, but I've heard it needs sealing and can stain easier. Quartz seems lower maintenance, but some say it looks kinda artificial compared to granite. Um, anyone have experience with either? Curious what you went with and if you're happy with it long-term.

- Had quartz installed about 4 yrs ago—zero regrets.
- Maintenance is super easy, no sealing needed.
- Honestly, the "artificial" look depends on the pattern you pick...some quartz designs look pretty natural these days.
- Did you check out samples in person yet?
