I've been slowly trying to give my kitchen that warm, old-school feel...you know, wood cabinets, vintage knobs, maybe some open shelving. First step was sanding and repainting cabinets in a creamy off-white. Then swapped out modern handles for antique brass ones I found online (pretty cheap actually). Added some open shelves with thrifted dishes and jars. But um, anyone got better tips or shortcuts?
