Haha, interesting perspective! I personally find voice controls quite convenient, especially when hosting guests or multitasking in my home theater. Perhaps adjusting mic sensitivity or rephrasing commands might help reduce awkwardness... still, buttons do have their charm and reliability.

- Totally get the convenience factor, especially in a high-end setup.
- I've tweaked my mic settings too... helps a bit, but still feels weird sometimes talking to a screen when friends are around.
- Buttons just feel more... premium somehow? Guess I'm old-school that way.

Haha, totally relate to this. Reminds me of the time I installed voice controls for my home theater setup. Thought it'd impress my friends, but instead spent half the movie awkwardly repeating "volume up" louder and louder while everyone laughed. Ended up quietly pulling out the ol' trusty remote with actual buttons... sometimes old-school just works better.

- Voice controls aren't always that bad, though—sounds like you had a rough setup.
- I've got a cheap smart speaker hooked up to my TV, and honestly, it's been pretty smooth. Maybe it's about finding the right gear or tweaking sensitivity settings?
- Buttons are reliable, sure, but voice can be handy when your hands are full or you're buried under blankets. Guess it depends on your priorities...and patience level.

Totally agree with this—voice control's a lifesaver when I'm juggling snacks or drinks. But honestly, I've found that higher-end setups seem to handle background noise better...cheap gear can get confused pretty easily.
