Have you checked if your TV has a voice calibration or sensitivity setting? Sometimes tweaking those can help reduce the weird misunderstandings. Also, is your remote mic positioned clearly when you speak? I noticed mine picks up commands better when I hold it slightly closer and speak slower (yeah, feels even weirder, but it works). Might be worth a shot to avoid those awkward "neck flicks" moments...
Good point about the mic positioning—I noticed the same thing. Also, background noise can really mess things up. I had to mute my fan once because the TV kept thinking I was asking for weather updates... awkward.
Haha, been there with the fan issue... For me, it's usually my dog barking that triggers random channel changes or volume spikes. Had to tweak the sensitivity settings—helped a bit, but still happens occasionally. Technology's great until it isn't, right?

Haha, exactly... reminds me of when I first set up voice control on my TV. Every time I'd chat with friends about paint colors or fabrics, the TV would randomly search for shows or movies with similar-sounding titles—talk about awkward interruptions. Had to reposition the mic and adjust settings step-by-step until it finally behaved. Ever had your TV respond to casual conversations too, or is mine just overly enthusiastic?

Haha, your TV definitely sounds eager to join the conversation. Mine used to randomly activate whenever someone said something remotely close to "series"—you can imagine how often that happened during casual chats about Netflix series or sports playoffs. Eventually, I tweaked the sensitivity settings and changed the activation phrase to something less common. Have you tried customizing the voice trigger phrase yet? Might help tame your overly enthusiastic TV...
