Totally agree with the patience part—mine took a couple weeks to really get my schedule down, but now it's pretty much on autopilot. Definitely worth sticking it out, especially when you start noticing those savings roll in...

Couldn't agree more about the patience factor. Mine took a bit longer—almost a month—to really understand our family's unpredictable schedule. But once it clicked, the comfort and savings were noticeable. Plus, there's something oddly satisfying about seeing your energy usage drop each month...

Totally relate to your experience with the adjustment period. It can feel a bit like training a new family member at first—lots of trial and error, right? But once things settle in, it's rewarding to see the tangible proof of smarter energy use. And you're spot-on about that satisfaction factor... watching those usage stats drop each month feels like a small personal victory in sustainability. Glad you stuck with it!

I get the appeal, but honestly, my experience was a bit different. Installed one last winter thinking it'd be a game changer, but it felt more like babysitting another gadget than training a family member. Kept overriding my settings, and half the time I ended up manually adjusting anyway. Maybe it's just me being old-school, but sometimes simpler is better... or at least less frustrating. Glad it worked out for you though.

I feel you on the babysitting thing... mine kept trying to "learn" my schedule but apparently couldn't grasp that weekends exist. Ended up tweaking settings constantly. They're neat in theory, but yeah, sometimes simpler just gets the job done without the headache.
