Yeah, totally agree with this. Have you thought about maintenance responsibilities too? Like, who covers repairs or snow removal if you're in a colder area? I've seen situations where neighbors assumed the other would handle it, and things got messy pretty fast. Might be worth hashing out those details now rather than later... just to keep things neighborly.

Good point about maintenance—reminds me of a client I had a few years back. They shared driveway access with their neighbor, and everything was great until winter hit. Both sides assumed the other would shovel, and after one big storm, they ended up with a driveway full of snow and two very annoyed households. Definitely worth sorting out ahead of time... saves you from awkward conversations later on.

Had a similar experience with a shared driveway project once—both neighbors were great people, but neither thought about snow removal until it was too late. Learned quickly that clear agreements upfront (and maybe a rotating schedule) can save everyone a headache later...

Totally agree with this. Had a similar issue come up when we shared landscaping responsibilities—everyone was enthusiastic about the aesthetics, but no one thought about maintenance until weeds took over. Clear expectations upfront really help keep things smooth. Plus, having a plan in place frees you up to actually enjoy your space instead of stressing over it...

Definitely true—seen this happen with shared outdoor spaces too. Curious though, has anyone found creative ways to visually mark shared access areas without making it feel overly divided or formal...?
