Sometimes the simplest solution is the most sustainable one, too.
I get that, but I’ve seen some well-designed smart systems actually reduce energy use in larger buildings. Manual switches are great for reliability, but sometimes tech—when it works—lets us optimize in ways we just can’t do by hand. It’s a trade-off, I guess.
