RE: Switching to energy-saving bulbs: how many of your lights are actually LEDs?
SWITCHING TO ENERGY-SAVING BULBS: HOW MANY OF YOUR LIGHTS ARE ACTUALLY LEDS? I hear you on the specialty bulbs - sometimes I feel like I’m on a scavenger hunt just trying to match the weird little ones in sconces or und...
RE: WHERE DO YOU EVEN START WITH HIRING SOMEONE TO DESIGN YOUR HOUSE?
Funny you mention that - had a client once who was dead set on a cozy reading nook, but the designer kept pushing for this ultra-modern open concept. It turned into a bit of a tug-of-war. I always tell folks, if your gut...
RE: HOW DO YOU REALLY SAVE WATER AT HOME? QUICK POLL
HOW DO YOU REALLY SAVE WATER AT HOME? QUICK POLL I hear you on the “smart” gadgets. I’ve seen some of those systems in action - honestly, they’re cool, but not always practical for most folks. I’ve built a few homes whe...

RE: Looking for affordable land - any hidden gems?
Had a similar experience myself a few years back. Found a beautiful little spot tucked away near the mountains - price was perfect, views were amazing... but yeah, infrastructure was pretty much zilch. When I first appro...
RE: Smart thermostats and chill vibes
I hear you on curtains being cozy, but honestly, smart blinds changed my mornings completely. Waking up gently to natural light slowly filtering in... game changer. Pricey, yeah, but sometimes comfort's worth the splurge...
