We just finished up soil testing for our custom build, and honestly, it felt like jumping through hoops. I get it's important, but man, the delays and extra costs were a headache. Curious if others had a similar experience or if we just got unlucky?

Yeah, I hear you on the frustration... went through something similar myself. But honestly, after seeing a neighbor's foundation crack due to unstable soil, I'm kinda glad we did it. Sure, it feels like a lot upfront—both time and money—but compared to potential repair costs later? Seems worth the hassle to me.
