Title: Making Fountains And Ponds Fun For Everyone
I’ve actually tried using potted grasses and some low planters around the edge, and it’s worked out better than I expected. The key is picking heavier pots so they don’t tip or blow over. I also used a few sections of steel edging—just pressed into the soil, not anchored permanently—which helps keep mulch and gravel in place without committing to concrete or mortar. It’s not as “crisp” as a hard edge, but it does let you move things around as your plants fill in. Sometimes it looks a bit loose at first, but once the plants grow, it all blends together pretty well.
