Could you still invest if banks suddenly stopped lending?

Just had this random thought - imagine tomorrow banks decided to completely stop giving out loans for investments. Like, zero credit available. How would that affect your strategy? Would you still be able to invest somehow or would you be totally stuck?

Interesting thought... honestly, I'd probably shift gears a bit. I mean, banks aren't the only game in town. I've seen some pretty cool projects get funded through crowdfunding or even community cooperatives - especially in green building circles. Might take a bit more hustle and creativity, but it could actually lead to more meaningful investments. Who knows, maybe less bank dependence would push us all toward more sustainable and community-driven solutions.
