Finally closed on our new build last month using a single-close construction-to-permanent loan, and I gotta say, it made things way less stressful than juggling two closings. The process wasn’t all smooth sailing (lots of paperwork... like, SO much), but not having to re-qualify for a mortgage halfway through was a huge relief. Curious if anyone else has done this, or maybe went the traditional two-step construction loan path? Did it work out as well for you?
