We ran into a similar situation - thought 14 months would be more than enough, but a delayed custom window order set us back. Our lender did offer a three-month extension, but it came with extra fees and a bit of paperwork hassle. Has anyone managed to get an extension without extra costs? Or is that just wishful thinking these days...
