Finally got a smart home setup - anyone else find some features kinda useless?
So, finally jumped on the smart home bandwagon and gotta say, some stuff is great, but others...um, not so much. Like, voice-controlled lights are cool, but does anyone actually use the fridge camera thing? Seems kinda pointless to me.

I wouldn’t call the fridge camera pointless for everyone. Checking what’s inside while grocery shopping could help avoid buying things you already have, which may make the feature worthwhile for some households.
The grocery-check benefit really depends on the camera’s view. If it doesn’t show the drawers or door bins clearly in the app, you still can’t tell whether the item you’re looking for is there. For that feature, useful coverage matters more than simply having a camera.
