Cramped spaces and weird tile choices—anyone else?

Redid our tiny bathroom last year and wow, picking tiles was way harder than I thought. Ended up with this weird blue that looked great in the store but kinda like a swimming pool at home. Also, why do all the vanities seem huge when you actually put them in? Anyone else regret a design choice or have a small space hack that actually works?

Honestly, I think you’re onto something with the hardware swap. I tried changing out cabinet pulls and towel hooks in my tiny bathroom, and it made a bigger difference than any rug or curtain ever did. Textiles can help, but sometimes less is more—especially when you’re on a budget.
