Just found out that pouring hot grease down the sink doesn't just clog your pipes—it can actually form these huge nasty "fatbergs" in city sewers. Like, giant greasy icebergs underground, you know? Kinda gross but fascinating...anyone heard of this before?

Yeah, I've heard about those fatbergs before...but honestly, how common are they really? I mean, it makes sense grease would clog pipes at home, but giant sewer-blocking icebergs underground sounds kinda exaggerated. Has anyone actually seen one of these things firsthand or is this more like an urban legend type deal? Either way, probably safer (and cheaper in the long run) to just pour grease into a jar or something instead.
