If you had to rig up your own home security on a tight budget, what would you do?

IF YOU HAD TO RIG UP YOUR OWN HOME SECURITY ON A TIGHT BUDGET, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

I’ll admit, I tried the fake camera thing once—my neighbor’s kid figured it out in about a week. Real cams are just so cheap now, it feels silly not to use them. I’m all about those motion lights too, especially the solar ones. They’re like little “gotcha” spotlights for raccoons and sketchy folks alike. Never thought about trimming bushes, but that makes sense... less hiding spots. I’d probably skip the “beware of dog” sign though—my luck, someone would call my bluff.
