Why Does My Browser Keep Forgetting Stuff?

I totally get the frustration with browser sync. I tried setting it up across my phone and laptop, thinking it’d be this seamless, magical thing. Instead, I ended up with duplicate bookmarks for like every home decor site I’ve ever visited, but none of my actual saved logins made it over. I still don’t really trust it either.

Screenshots are my go-to too—especially when I spot a kitchen design or a listing I want to remember. But then my photo gallery is just a mess of random screenshots mixed in with actual photos. Honestly, sometimes I can’t even find what I saved because I forget to label them.

The autofill thing is wild. Mine always suggests this old vacation rental address from a trip in 2017, but never my own house. I’ve tried clearing out old entries, but somehow they just keep coming back. Does anyone know if there’s a way to actually force autofill to forget specific addresses? Or is it just one of those things where you have to wipe everything and start over?

I’m curious—has anyone actually found a system that works for keeping digital stuff organized? Like, is there a “luxury” way to do digital storage, or is everyone just winging it with folders and screenshots? Sometimes I feel like I spend more time organizing files than actually enjoying the stuff I’m saving.

Luxury digital storage—now that’s a dream. I’ve tried everything from fancy note apps to color-coded folders, but honestly, it always ends up like my garage: organized for a week, then chaos. Once, I spent an entire afternoon sorting screenshots of floorplans and landscaping ideas, only to realize I’d saved the same patio design five times under different names. As for autofill, I swear my browser is haunted by an old project site address from 2014. No matter how many times I delete it, it pops back up like a stubborn weed. Maybe digital clutter is just part of the creative process... or maybe I just need to let go and embrace the mess.

Title: Why does my browser keep forgetting stuff?

- Been there. I once spent hours organizing renderings, only to have Chrome autofill keep pushing an old supplier’s address from a project I barely remember.
- Tried clearing cache, nuking autofill data—still pops up. Honestly, digital clutter feels inevitable.
- Maybe it’s just the price of juggling too many projects at once... or maybe browsers are just stubborn by design.

Honestly, I get where you’re coming from. When we moved into our new place, I tried to keep everything organized—bookmarks, passwords, addresses. But then Chrome started mixing up my info with my partner’s, and suddenly I was getting autofill suggestions for their old apartment. It’s weirdly frustrating. I guess browsers just have a mind of their own sometimes... but hey, at least it means you’re not alone in the digital chaos.

Yeah, I totally get the struggle. We just finished building our place and I thought, new house, new start, right? But my browser still thinks I live at my parents’ address and keeps trying to autofill it everywhere. Is there some secret setting I’m missing, or do browsers just get attached to old info? Also, does anyone else get nervous wiping autofill data in case it deletes something important? It’s like digital Jenga...
