Yeah, I get where you’re coming from. I’ve tried a couple of the “moisture-resistant” eco brands and honestly, didn’t see much difference once the humidity kicked in. Maybe it’s just marketing? Still, I agree—using it in bedrooms or living rooms is better than nothing. Every bit helps with the landfill issue, even if it’s not perfect everywhere. If someone cracks the code for wet areas, I’m all ears... until then, I’m sticking to regular greenboard for bathrooms.
