I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve squinted at some blurry line, thinking it was a property boundary, only to find out later it’s a drainage easement or something. The “official” survey is always my go-to, even if it means digging through old files in the garage. I’ll admit, calling the county office isn’t my favorite thing either, but it’s saved me a ton of hassle—especially when the online stuff just doesn’t add up. Still waiting for the day these digital tools get an upgrade... until then, it’s string lines and double-checking for me too.
