Some materials just don’t work well on low slopes, even if they look good.
That’s spot on. I once tried to get standing seam metal approved for a friend’s place—looked incredible, but the pitch was barely 3:12. HOA said yes, but the installer flat-out refused. Ended up with a modified bitumen system instead... not as pretty, but zero leaks since. Sometimes you’ve gotta compromise between aesthetics and what’ll actually hold up over time.
