What if your city paid you to use less water?

Honestly, I wish more folks realized how much those little upgrades add up. I’ve seen people balk at the price of a good low-flow toilet, but then they’ll drop twice as much on a fancy faucet that doesn’t save a drop. The rebate game is a headache, though—I’ve had clients miss out just because the city ran out of funds mid-project. If you can catch those programs, it’s a no-brainer, but even without them, the long-term math usually works out. And yeah, not all “efficient” fixtures are created equal... some of them feel like you’re showering under a leaky garden hose. Gotta test a few before you find the sweet spot.

It’s wild how people will splurge on the flashiest fixtures but hesitate over something that actually saves money in the long run. I’ve swapped out a few “efficient” showerheads myself—some were just sad, but the right one really does make a difference. The rebate chase is a pain, but even without it, those savings sneak up on you over time. Stick with it... the payoff’s real, even if it’s not instant.
