Finally upgraded my kitchen counters and I'm loving it!

I’ve seen folks get obsessed with quartz or granite, thinking they’ll never have to worry about a thing. Truth is, every surface has its quirks. I’ve had clients who went back to laminate after a year of babying their “dream” counters. Sometimes practical just wins out.

Funny how that goes—folks get caught up in the “premium” stuff, but every surface has its trade-offs. I’ve installed butcher block, stone, even poured concrete, and there’s always some quirk that pops up. If you’re happy with yours, that’s what counts. Sometimes chasing “perfect” just isn’t worth it.
