I get where you’re coming from—flat land is definitely easier on the wallet and nerves. But honestly, I’ve seen hillside builds done right where maintenance isn’t a nightmare. If you plan drainage and walls from the start (and don’t cheap out), it’s not as bad as people think. The views can really add value too, both for living and resale. Sometimes the upfront investment pays off down the line, even if it takes a bit more work at first.
