Saw a news story yesterday about how outdated breaker boxes in older homes are causing some serious fire hazards. Apparently, lots of houses built before the 80s still have these ancient fuse boxes or whatever, and they're not really equipped to handle today's electrical loads (think computers, big TVs, gaming setups, etc.). Kinda got me thinking about my own place—it's pretty old, you know? Wondering if anyone else saw this or had similar worries about their home's wiring situation...
